Lawrence Bender’s Movie, ‘Anna and the King’

Lawrence Bender was born in the year 1957, 17, October. He is an American movie producer. He has been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. He is now aged 60 years and will be turning 61 in October 17. Lawrence Bender was born to two parents of Jewish origin. He was born in Bronx New York. Bender grew up in New Jersey. His father was a college history professor, and his mother was a kindergarten teacher. He joined Cherry Hill High School to pursue his secondary education. After completing high school, he joined the University of Maine. At Maine, he pursued a degree in Civil engineering. He bought the idea from his grandfather who was also a civil engineer.

Lawrence Bender closely followed his grandfather’s footsteps. He was his inspiration. In the year 1977, Lawrence graduated with a degree in civil engineering. His reason to pursue this degree was that he had earlier received plenty of information that the course had more job opportunities. While he attended his course at the university, he developed a strong passion for dancing. After graduating, it was his wish to do dancing. He danced for several years. Later he sustained an injury that brought his dancing career to an end.

Lawrence Bender then later decided to pursue another career because he was no longer able to dance. Today, Bender is a movie producer with a degree in civil engineering. Bender came into the limelight when he produced the movie Reservoir Dogs in the year 1992. Since then, he has produced several other movies like Django, Goodwill Hunting, Safe Four Rooms, Inglorious Bastards and an Inconvenient Truth.

Lawrence Bender is the one who produced the movie Anna and the king. The film is a story of one woman referred to as Anna Leon Owens. She was an English teacher that came visiting Siam in the 1860’s. Anna had visited to tutor King Mongkut children. Anna gets involved in the Kings’ affairs. She climbed ranks, right from a mere concubine to a point where she allied with Great Britain to a war with Burma that was orchestrated by Great Britain. Unknowingly love develops between the teacher and the king.
