How to put on Muscle

A lot of men are looking to build muscle for this upcoming summer. Even though summer is near, the best time to start is right now. unfortunately, a lot of individuals are misguided. They don’t understand what it really takes to build muscle and how simple it really is. There are three basic things that every bodybuilder must focus on in order to see extraordinary results. We’re going to be going over these three basic steps int his article.

1. Diet
In order for one to build muscle, they have to be consuming enough food. Find out your body’s current maintenance calories and consume 300-500 extra calories above that every single day. Yoru goal as a newbie should be to gain one pound every single week. This is not far-fetched. Track your macros and weight every single day. At the end of the week, average those seven weights and see if you have made progress from the previous week. If you haven’t, bump up the calories and macros. Continue this process until you plan to cut.

2. Workout.
One could argue that your workout routine is the most important part of building muscle. When you are starting out, you should structure your workout and start your workout with compound exercises like bench press, squats, deadlifts, and shoulder press depending on what day it is. These lifts are by far the most effective because they incorporate the most muscle groups in the shortest period of time. In other words, you’ll see greater results. When looking to build muscle, don’t undermine cardio. Cardio keeps the heart healthy and your overall body healthy.

3. Sleep
You must make sleep a priority if you want to gain any muscle. If you are not getting enough sleep, you are not giving your body the time it needs and requires to rebuild itself. In other words, you’ll see minimal results if any at all. Your goal should be to sleep at least 7-8 hours every night and keep the schedule as consistent as possible.

How to get into shape

A lot of Americans are very misguided on what it actually takes to get into great shape. In fact, the overall process is very simple if you break it all down. Unfortunately, it is going to be a lot of work and you are going to have to be committed to your fitness goals. In this article, I’m going to be breaking down the three simple steps that I have used and implemented to get into great shape.

1. Diet
Diet and nutrition is by far the most important part of getting into great shape. Your body is basically a mirror of your overall diet. If you eat crap all day, you are going to look like crap. There is a very direct correlation between what you eat and your health. You should be focusing on hitting your macros daily and consuming healthy foods like lean beef, salmon, nuts, vegetables, and others. If you don’t make diet a priority, you are doing yourself a disservice. You’ll never reach your true fitness potential if you don’t consume great foods for your body.

2. Workout
Your workout routine is the second most important factor to consider when getting into shape. Your workout should align with your fitness goals. For example, if you are looking to build great size and muscle, you should probably structure your workout around compound movements like bench press, shoulder press, squats, and deadlifts. If you are looking to slim down a little, structure your workout around high-intensity interval exercises like jump rope, sprints, burpees, and mountain climbers. By doing this, you’ll get the best results. Moving forward, make sure you continue to push yourself every day in the gym.

3. Sleep
Sleep is very important because it balances hormones, gives you energy, and ultimately rebuilds your body. If you aren’t getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep every single night, you won’t see great results. In the end, keep your sleeping schedule as consistent as possible.

How to Get that Summer Body

The fitness industry loves to cloud our mind with brilliant marketing, thinking that we need to take certain supplements to get great results. Even though some supplements do a great job of repairing your body and building muscle, they are not entirely needed if you don’t want them. In short, there are only three specific things that you need to focus on when you are getting into shape. We’re going to be going over these three in today’s article.

1. Diet
If you don’t make diet your most important priority when it comes to fitness, you won’t see the results that you want in the gym. I know this from personal experience. First, find out how many macros you need each day and hit that mark every day. Next, track your weight every morning. At the end of the week, average those seven days together. See if you’ve gained or lost weight from the previous week. If you want to gain weight, increase your macros and vice versa. Your protein intake should be around what your body weight is. For example, if a person weighs 180lbs, they should be getting around 180 grams of protein every single day.

2. Workout
To get extraordinary results in the gym, you have to have a specific workout program that is designed specifically for your fitness goals. You wouldn’t implement tremendous amounts of cardio into your workout routine if your goal was to build as much muscle as possible. If you are looking to gain weight, structure your workout routine around compound exercises like bench press, squats, deadlifts, and shoulder press. These exercises incorporate many muscle groups, leading to better results in a shorter period. If your goal is to lose weight, structure your workout routine around HIIT cardio.

3. Sleep
If you aren’t getting enough sleep, your body won’t be able to effectively repair itself. In other words, you won’t see great results. Focus on getting 8-9 hours of sleep every night and keep your schedule consistent.
